Rocking wet hair on purpose (not just because we overslept and ran out of blow-dry time) isn’t our usual go-to look. But how can you not feel inspired to soak your strands after seeing goddess Jennifer Lopez do just that at the 2020 American Music Awards? Recreate the style by mixing a little shine cream (try Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Style Milk) and hair gel (we like Umberto Giannini Curl Jelly Scrunching Jelly), then smooth through wet hair from front to back. Comb into place or use your fingers for a more tousled vibe.

Any animal lover knows that even just looking at cute pet memes/videos/pics online is a great de-stresser (science even backs this up!) But now, thanks to a new survey from the pet department at OnBuy, we’ve discovered which dog breeds are best at calming us down after a five-minute cuddle. Coming in at number three are those loyal, even-tempered Golden Retrievers, who can reduce a stressed heart rate to 54 beats per minute (BPM). The runners up? Huskies: these friendly, intelligent, floofs can get our tickers to a relaxing 52 BPM. But – drumroll please – the best in show for a calm-down cuddle is… the Labrador Retriever. A hug with one of these gentle, furry angels reduces our BPMs right down to 51. We feel serene just thinking about it…
